Why it stays in rotation
I like the idea of this record because it gives you the drama without asking for the whole opera. Sometimes that is exactly the right amount: openings, intermezzi, and the feeling of something bigger around the corner. This feels like one to play when I want the music to make the room feel a little more theatrical.
