Why it stays in rotation

This one feels like a proper sit-down record. Backhaus playing Beethoven gives the sleeve a kind of weight before the needle even drops, and I like that it sits on the classical side of the collection without needing much explanation. The Pathétique slow movement and the final Appassionata movement are the ones I would mark first, but the whole record feels made for quiet reading.
