The Age of Surveillance Capitalism

As someone who was researching a lot of Big Tech platforms when I read this, I appreciate this book differently than most. It’s dense and Zuboff gives language to something most people feel or experience but cannot always name: platforms turning behaviour into prediction, prediction into profit, and profit into infrastructure. The way these concepts are demystified is so good and a good lesson in breaking concepts down for lesser technical people. Overall, solid read.
